Delete Your Account
Last updated: April 20, 2026
You can permanently delete your Finger Math account and all associated data at any time. This page explains the two ways to do it, what gets removed, and what (if anything) may be retained.
Fastest way — delete from the app
Account deletion is built into the app and takes effect immediately.
- Open the Finger Math app on your Android device.
- Sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open the drawer menu (the ☰ icon in the top-left of the home screen).
- Tap Profile.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm on both dialogs. The second dialog is the point of no return.
Deletion is immediate and irreversible. You will be signed out and returned to the home screen. There is no “undelete” — create a new account with a fresh email if you change your mind.
Alternative — email request
If you can’t sign in (lost password, lost device, etc.) you can ask us to delete your account by email.
- Send an email to support@omeecron.tech.
- Use the subject line:
Account Deletion Request. - Include the email address associated with your Finger Math account so we can identify it. We may ask a follow-up question to confirm identity.
- We will confirm deletion within 7 business days.
What gets deleted
The following data is permanently removed on account deletion:
- Your Firebase Authentication account (email + password hash).
- Your user record in our database (username, session token, creation date).
- All quiz progress — best scores, stars, best times, and attempt counts for every level and mode.
- All quiz review data — wrong-answer sessions stored for the review feature.
What gets anonymized (not deleted)
We keep some content beyond deletion, but remove anything that identifies you:
- Feedback submissions — any rating, message, or bug report you submitted from inside the app while signed in. Your username and user ID are removed so the feedback can no longer be linked back to you, but the content itself is kept because it helps us improve the Service.
What may be retained
For security and legal reasons, a small amount of data may persist briefly after deletion:
- Server logs (IP addresses, rate-limit records, diagnostic logs) — retained up to 30 days for abuse prevention and security monitoring, then deleted automatically.
- Encrypted backups — residual copies may exist in routine backups for a short window. Backups are never restored except for disaster recovery or if required by law.
- Legal records — if we are required by law to retain specific data (e.g., to comply with a legal claim or valid legal request), that data is kept only for as long as the obligation lasts.
No marketing lists, no ad profiles, no analytics IDs — we don’t have any of these to retain because we don’t operate them.
